I am fortunate enough to live only a couple of hours away from Orlando, so my son (above) and I made it to ALL four of the Star Wars Weekends at the Disney/MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida, May 2000.  It was hotter than Tatooine, but lots of fun!!  Some of the highlights included:
SW guests motorcade and Q&A sessions
Star Tours Ride-A-Thon
Making of TPM on 70mm movie screen
"Starcade" with SW pinball & arcade games
Cantina Street Party in evening with D.J.
Jedi Training Camp for kids under 13
Exclusive collectors pins at Tatooine Traders
Very detailed SW face painting
Costumed characters and look-a-likes wandering
around and posing for pics.

Contrary to what someone reported, NO guest charged extra money for autographs!  For a look at some of my pics of the costumed characters, the unique SW Weekend collector pins,  the Jedi Training Camp, as well as pics and autographs of all the guests, just click the navigation buttons above.  I also attended the following year's SW Weekend as well. Pics to come soon.

Disclaimer:  Lucasfilm owns everything Star Wars related including the pics the guests signed; Disney owns all things Mousy and a large hunk of Central Florida; the two together own all the SW Weekend logo stuff.  But I own the copyright to ALL the pics I took and scanned in.  Hey, I'm the one who stood in the heat for hours!! :) So if you want to borrow any pics for a website,  please give me credit. You can find a link banner on my Personal page.  Thank you! - Jedi Kirin
