Just click on the thumbnails to see the full-sized
pics.
Warning: the autographs are pretty large!
NOTE:
I HAD TO REMOVE THE LARGE PICS FOR A WHILE UNTIL MY SITE IS UPGRADED TO
A LARGER SIZE! HOPEFULLY THEY'LL BE BACK SOON!!!
May 5 - 7, 2000
Hugh Quarshie - "Captain Panaka"
A very charming
gentleman with a marvelous British accent. ;) In response to
my question, he hinted that he will probably be back in Ep. II

Kenny Baker - "R2D2"
His line was closed by the time
we got there, as he isn't able to sign very fast,
but he had
pre-signed
a bunch of SW Weekend pics. He also stayed at least
half an hour
longer at each signing than was posted. Nice guy!
May 12 - 14, 2000
Peter Mayhew - "Chewbacca"
A very tall and very nice gentleman!

Ian McCaig -
"father" of Darth Maul
One of ILM's conceptual artists for Ep. I (and II!), he was the creator of Darth Maul.
I had
brought with me the mini-"Art of Star Wars" book
that came with the widescreen version of TPM and so got him
to sign one of his concept pics of Darth Maul! He came around the
desk just so he could talk to my son. :) I asked him about the possibility
of a female Sith in Eps. II, mentioning the "Sith Witch" concept pic,
and he stated that the concept pic was mislabeled by the Art book editors and
that it was just another version of the MALE Darth Maul!
May 19 - 21, 2000
Jake Lloyd - "Anakin Skywalker"
Jake was very friendly, especially
to kids. Jake was very patient with my son, who was thrilled
to meet the guy who played his favorite Ep. I character and wanted to talk all about the
podrace. :)

David Prowse - "Darth Vader"
David's autograph line was one of the
longest, aside from Carrie's. We didn't make the cutoff,
but David had pre-signed a bunch of pics which the helpers handed
out. Very charming man!
May 26 - 28, 2000
Jeremy Bulloch - "Boba Fett"
A very warm and charming man, who loved
talking to everyone.

Carrie Fisher
- "Princess Leia"
Carrie was only there for Saturday
and Sunday and only was scheduled for an hour and a half each
day, so the line got cut off very early. Hubby missed the line
cutoff by only about 15 people and was heartbroken, poor baby! ;) But
Carrie had
managed to pre-sign a bunch of pics that were available
first-come, first-served at the Guest Relations desk. Those who managed to
make the line cutoff said that she was very gracious, but a very fast signer. :)
